SAP Support Analyst - 1st and 2nd Line Applications Support - SCM, PLM, FICO - Warrington, Cheshire - £31-34k

My client is seeking an experienced SAP Support Analyst to provide 1st and 2nd Line Applications Support for a variety of SAP modules. Excellent communication skills are required in addition to the following profile:

Min 2 years’ experience in an Applications Support role
Solid knowledge of at least one of the following SAP modules: PLM, SCM or FICO
Excellent customer-facing skills gained within a large, multi-site user base
Experience of end-user training within an SAP environment
 

My client uses a variety of SAP modules, the most notable being Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Supply Chain Management (SCM) and FICO, but you will gain exposure to other SAP applications in this role. You will solve a wide variety of applications software problems as well as providing ad-hoc user training. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a rapport with the user base are essential.

My client has a specific requirement for an experienced SLA Compliance Reporting Analyst within an IT environment. The role carries responsibility for the production of a series of compliance reports related to Customer Contracts and Accreditation/ Standards bodies. The required skill profile for the role comprises:

In-depth experience of producing/ maintaining Compliance reports relevant to an ITIL-based IT function
A good knowledge of ITIL gained via implementing ITIL processes
Strong admin and co-ordination skills within a Compliance/ Quality environment
Some exposure to managing Customer Contracts/ SLA’s within an IT setting
Proven ability to extract and assimilate data in the production of high-quality Compliance reports
 
You will be encouraged to take ownership of actions, projects, systems and people within the Compliance reporting function. A background in a Software Products business with a commitment to Quality and Standards would be ideal. A “hands-on” approach, relationship-building skills and the ability to generate enthusiasm for Compliance processes and excellent communication skills are also desirable.

This opportunity requires a strong IT infrastructure background with skills in Windows 2000/3 server technology and AS400 iSeries architecture. The role is focussed on infrastructure design, planning, project management and implementation and would those with experience gained in a Server Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or 2nd/3rd line Server Support role. The skill profile required for the role is:

 

Thorough knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 servers
Some exposure to AS400 iSeries architecture (AS400 Operations skills will suffice)
MS Exchange, VM Ware and Active Directory skills
Experience of dealing with 3rd party suppliers
Infrastructure planning/ design/ project management skills
 

The position entails a combination of design, project management and implementation of Windows Server and AS400 iSeries-based IT projects as well as providing some “hands-on” server and infrastructure support. Any knowledge of Sharepoint or OCS would be ideal. You will be guaranteed a broad and challenging role and you will enjoy the opportunity to move beyond the technical arena and into Infrastructure project design & project management.
