My client has a specific requirement for an experienced User Interface Designer with significant experience of running Prototype workshops and using Prototype tools. You will play a key role in the functional design of the front-end to a variety of workflow-based solutions and your skill profile must include:
At least 2 years experience in User Interface (UI) design Exposure to building process flows within prototyping tools Strong knowledge of building front-end business screens within prototyping tools Some experience of functional design for front-end solutions Prototype configuration management skills
Your communication skills should also be excellent as you will manage prototyping workshops, assist in knowledge transfer and work closely with Technical Designers and Developers. A background in implementation of IT solutions would be ideal. You will enjoy significant responsibility and a broad & challenging role within this global consultancy business.

Java (including XML, XSL, SOAP, DOM), SQL (ideally SQL Server) and web development skills are essential; ASP, Visual Basic, .Net, Linux, HTML and CSS would be preferred. My client is embarking on the development of a new suite of sophisticated on-line trading applications and you will work with the web development and graphic design teams to design on-line solutions in a best practice environment. The role would ideally suit a candidate with 12 months’ commercial experience – a Graduate with an industrial placement or a first-time career mover would be ideal. Exposure to a structured development function and knowledge of a multi-layer approach will be required.
